If the material is already dry, spray some water evenly on it to make it moist before ironing; wool cannot be ironed directly. Iron on the surface of the clothes, so as not to be polished or whitened. Cover it with a piece of lining cloth or similar fabrics before ironing; if you iron the sweater directly with an iron, it will destroy the elasticity of the wool. Spray steam at the place, and it will naturally smooth after drying.

It is best to add pure water to the water box of the steam iron. If not, at least use boiled water to reduce the scale and prevent the steam injection holes from being blocked. The bottom of the iron should be kept clean. If there is debris such as fibers, it should be wiped with a damp towel first. The iron has been used for a long time, and it is often not smooth enough. Push ironing is more laborious, causing many small wrinkles to appear on ironed clothes. At this time, it is necessary to simply dispose of the iron before using it: drop a few drops of salad oil on the towel, and scald it with the iron a few times.

When ironing clothes, do not press the iron too hard to avoid selvage marks on the surface of the clothes. Do not put away the clothes immediately after they are comforted, but hang them up to dry.
